‘Karsh Trail, Portrait Gallery of Canada’

The Karsh Trail includes a dozen sites relating to Karsh’s life and work in downtown Ottawa – some with displays and some as points of interest. A printed Festival Guide will include a map and site descriptions to encourage tourists and local residents to visit the sites along the Trail, including: Château Laurier, National Gallery of Canada, School of Photographic Arts of Ottawa, Hardy Arcade, Library and Archives Canada, among others. Karsh Trail signage will identify each site and create a unifying look. The Karsh Trail is an innovative and integral part of Festival Karsh and is intended to create a buzz-about-town as people find Karsh everywhere they go in the summer of 2009.
