“My photography of Jim Henson in the world of his beloved creations proved in retrospect to be a bittersweet experience. Shortly after our photographic session, which was filled with camaraderie and whimsy, Jim Henson prematurely died. I felt behind the affability and charm a devoted sense of purpose and an independence of spirit. I was touched when his family requested that this photograph be used at his funeral services.”
