'Drawing from the recent deposit by Estrellita Karsh of 57 photographic portraits of literary figures, the exhibit will focus on Mr. Karsh's collaborative process in working with men and women of letters to produce portraits that are not merely photographs of literary figures, but also "literary portraits" in that the photographer uses his own visual language to tell the story of his subject's literary life in a single image.'
