The Woodstock Music & Art Fair ended on this day in 1969. Karsh photographed two musical artists who performed at the festival, Joan Baez (photographed in 1970) and Ravi Shankar (in 1966). Shankar played through the rain on Friday from 10-10:35 pm; Baez played later the same night into Saturday morning, while six months pregnant.
