Zabou is a French street artist based in London. She travels and paints giant portraits, “making the world a more colourful place, one wall at a time.” We decided to support Zabou’s interpretation of Yousuf Karsh’s beloved portrait of revered actress and humanitarian Audrey Hepburn. Zabou gained permission to paint on a residential building above the Brick Lane Brasserie in London’s popular historic east end destination, Brick Lane. Zabou included some white tulips, a variety named after Ms. Hepburn.
