Windows on the World was a restaurant within the complex of dining, meeting, and entertainment venues on the top floors of the North Tower of the original World Trade Center. The restaurant, which opened in 1976, was developed by Joe Baum, an American restaurateur and innovator. A new short documentary film from CNN, “Top of the World,” which tells the story of the legendary restaurant, is out now. Watch the trailer here.
