Laurence Tisch was an American businessman, investor and billionaire. He was the CEO of CBS television network from 1986 to 1995. With his brother Bob, he was part owner of Loews Corporation. Among other philanthropic ventures, Tisch made major donations to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York University, the NYU Medical Center and the Wildlife Conservation Society.
