We recently discovered the story of Canadian trailblazer Marjorie McKenzie through a researcher. McKenzie made history in 1930 as the first woman to take the foreign service exam and secure a position in the foreign service. Before that, she had worked as a secretary to two Under Secretaries of State for External Affairs: O.D. Skelton and Norman Robertson. Thanks to Global Affairs Canada for sharing a copy.
