The Decorative Arts Trust is a nonprofit organization with the mission to promote the study and appreciation of the decorative arts. They have just announced their 7th Annual Colloquium featuring young scholars in the decorative arts field. One of their research grant recipients is studying the history of Butaca/Butaque chairs and will include this portrait of Josef Albers, seated in one of said chairs, to illustrate their research.
